Sunday Car Booty

I was really looking forward to this morning’s car boot sale, having not been to one for three weeks: sadly, it was a bit of a disappointment, with lots of people selling far too much overpriced tat.

Anyway, I still managed to pick up some good bits and bobs, so it wasn’t an entirely wasted journey!

Teenagers’ party dress £1.25 (actually a lot prettier than it looks in the photo), Davidoff Cool Water Wave perfume £1

Next shoes/boots, brand new, £1

Kenzo Junior dress, brand new with tags £1.25, Body Shop gift set £1, Bronnley soap set £2

Per Una purple jacket, £2.50

Various ladies’ clothes, £3 the lot

Huge box FULL of vintage piano sheet music.  I know nothing about this, but it caught my eye, and when the chap said ‘make me an offer for the lot’, I said £2, and he accepted it!  The music dates back to the 1910/20s, although most is 50s.  And, incongruously enough, there were three copies of “The Wrestler” magazine from the early 60s in the middle of it all, which appear to sell for about a tenner each on Ebay!

Looking forward to a lazy Sunday today – hope yours is good, whatever you’re planning xx

  1. Oh gosh, I don’t know how you manage to get such good bargains! We went to 2 car boot sales and people were asking silly prices for things! I suppose I’m not confident enough yet to be able to haggle with them lol..

  2. Well done. Love the Per Una jacket
Haven’t been to a booty for ages as now they are full of dealers selling overpriced items. Roll on next booty season!
